Does anyone blog anymore?
Hunkered down on the counch and watching me some Hawaii 5-0....love that show!
Getting ready this weekend for a girls get together. Gonna do a taco bar, have some meatballs and cocktail wieners and lots of other munchies. Of course there are always some games to play also but the highlight will be the ugly sweaters that hopefully that everyone will be wearing.

Apparently nobody blogs anymore?
Apparently the world of Facebook has taken over and Blogging has become a thing of the past. Well I shall continue on...you never know when someone may take a peek and see what one has been up to.
The last entry was last February so what has the last year brought?
As usual it seems to be consumed with work. Of course with the radio station when spring arrives it is busy with Senior Nights and when summer hits it is consumed with parades...usually 7 of them no less and I believe I made it to each and everyone of them.
During the summer last year my friend Belinda and my grand-niece Brenna came along to Moondance Jam in Walker, MN. The highlight of that was standing right up front for when KISS performed. We stood in the same spot for over 5 hours but it was worth it!!!
The weekend after Labor Day Belinda, Jodi and I spent the weekend in Northfield for Defeat of Jesse James Days. Watched the re-enactment of when his gang came to town and robbed the bank, did a little shopping, went on a ferris wheel ride and went to the rodeo. Even though hotel we stayed at screwed up our reservation we still had a great time.
In September it was time for the 25 year class reunion. Jill, Matt and I stayed in a hotel in Stillwater and met Mary and Lance at a Vineyard and enjoyed some wine and cheese and crackers before heading off to our dinner cruise/reunion. The next day went to the Vikings game with Jill and Matt and stayed in the cities that night too. Had a great time that weekend. Actually made it to 3 Vikings games that year...looking forward to another season of football.
End of December I decided to quit my part-time job at Hidden Creek. I had been there almost 6 years but decided it was time to focus on one job, even though financially it would be a little bit of a struggle, but there were so many things I wouldn't get to do or have to re-arrange my schedule just to go do things.
Winter of 2012 was pretty slow but last night went to the Surf Ballroom with a couple of friends to see Buckcherry and had a great time! We actually ended up getting our picture taken with Josh Todd the lead singer from Buckcherry.
Am looking forward to a fabulous summer which will start off with my grandnieces Alexis, Molly and Meagan staying with me for a few days. Two 7 year olds and a 4 year old along with a dog should be fun none the least.
Til the next posting....
